Wink Retailers sells luxury clothing and footwear for women, men and children. We buy across four departments — womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and footwear — and hold each of them to the same brief.
That brief is straightforward. Natural fibres where they genuinely perform better, not simply where they sound better on a label. Construction that can be maintained: a Goodyear-welted sole that can be replaced, a hand-finished edge that will not fray open, a waistband that survives a season of wear. And a fit that stays true after washing, which is the point at which most clothing quietly fails.
We say what things are made of on every product page, including when a piece is a blend. If a cloth contains elastane for movement, that is stated. If linen will crease, we say that too, because it is the nature of the fibre and not a fault to be discovered after delivery.

The claims we avoid
A great deal of clothing marketing rests on language that cannot be checked — heritage that is implied rather than held, sustainability stated without a standard behind it, scarcity manufactured to hurry a decision.
We have chosen not to work that way. You will not find countdown timers, invented stock warnings, or figures we cannot evidence anywhere on this site. Where we make a claim about a garment, it is a claim about the cloth or the construction, and it is one you can verify when the piece arrives.
